How We Work Together: Pure Commission, Lightweight Front End
This partnership runs on a pure-commission model. IEP passes the maximum possible share of margin to the partners on the front line.
Lightweight front end: no office hours, and none of the back-end work — editing, translation, rights registration. You focus only on “identify the need → build trust → make the introduction.”
Staged settlement: commissions are paid in stages, tied to real payment milestones, so the arrangement feels secure.
Long-tail share: for corporate knowledge IP you help bring in, you can share in long-term returns generated on the knowledge-asset side.
Full enablement: IEP provides a standard Media Kit, case materials, and standard contract templates, with experts supporting the approach to key clients.
A note on settlement: commissions are tied to genuine payment milestones and linked to client satisfaction and delivery. We would rather you bring the right, satisfied clients than chase signings for their own sake — serve one author well, and you earn the trust of the whole community behind them.
Our Commitments
We speak with clients in terms of a work’s long-term value — entry into the global knowledge system, to be preserved and discovered — rather than promises of sales or fame. Short-term returns vary; long-term value is the true meaning of international publishing.
We respect every author’s informed, independent choice, and we regard content compliance and informed authorship as a professional baseline shared by IEP and every partner.
How to Join
1. Initial conversation: meet the IEP team online and identify the track that fits you best.
2. Authorization: once approved, receive the IEP Knowledge-Publishing Partner Certificate and a dedicated pricing worksheet.
3. Pilot launch: IEP works alongside you through your first one or two seed clients, all the way to your first commission.
